Cost

The cost of The New Rider Course is $350.00, which includes the use of a Buell® Blast®, all classroom and range materials.

Schedule

Classes are held for 4 days and are taught on a controlled environment at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson. The New Rider Course includes two days of riding on the "range," a course built to increase your confidence at every turn. • A valid automobile driver's license or learner's permit
• Know how to ride a bicycle
• A heavy long-sleeve shirt or leather jacket
• Jeans
• Over-the-ankle boots
• Full-fingered gloves
• A helmet that meets DOT requirements
• Protective Eyewear

With the successful completion of The New Rider Course, you will be receive $350 off a motorcycle purchase at Red Rock Harley-Davidson, Las Vegas Harley-Davidson or Zion Harley-Davidson.

Skilled Rider Course

The Skilled Rider Course is a one-day session held entirely on the range. The course uses the curriculum of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Experienced RiderCourse, with some enhancements developed by Harley-Davidson enthusiasts. Participants use their own motorcycles to enhance the following skills: control at low speeds, risk management, limited space maneuvers, cornering judgement, stopping quickly on a curve, mutiple curve maneuvers and surmounting objects.

• Proof of motorcycle insurance
• A helmet that meets DOT requirements
• Protective eyewear
• Motorcycling gloves
• A heavy long-sleeve shirt or leather jacket
• Over-the-ankle boots
